Ajmera Realty’s Plant-with-Purpose Initiative on World Environment Day

Mumbai: As a gesture of advocacy towards purposeful eco-friendly practices, Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd hosted a tree-plantation drive across various projects in Mumbai and Bangalore. The initiative was inaugurated at Ajmera Manhattan and Ajmera Greenfinity at Wadala by Bhavesh Joshi, GM Sales, Ajmera Realty Infra India Ltd., and Aarti Ramani, Director, Ajmera Realty, in the presence of residents and homeowners.

The plantation drive was backed by a motive towards promoting sustainable and eco-conscious living, where the residents can enjoy the benefits of organically-grown vegetables that are otherwise purchased. A tree-plantation expert, Devendra Bhekar, specialising in Horticulture Science, was present on the ground to guide the residents in creating a self-sustained ecosystem within the society, maintaining the plants, and highlighting the significance of purpose-led tree plantations.

The company has successfully planted over 500 trees and saplings across multiple project sites, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. This includes 250 trees across projects in Bangalore, 100 shrubs in Wadala, and 50 trees each across projects in Malad, Kalyan, and Kanjurmarg.

Commenting on the same, Dhaval Ajmera, Director, Ajmera Realty & Infra India Ltd., said, “We as a company strongly believe in promoting sustainable living and giving back to nature whenever possible. This activity of planting trees adds more value in day to day lives of the residents while serving as green lungs to the community. Along with this, we have mandated all projects across sites and cities to be certified as green projects and are taking conscious steps towards going carbon-neutral. We look forward to more such occasions to rekindle with our residents and pursue collaborations that help bring a change and benefit everybody at large.”
