Hyderabad: On the occasion of National Sports Day, Inorbit Malls (India) Private Limited is thrilled to announce its latest initiative, Project Dhanush Shakti in partnership with Nirmaan Organisation. The project is aimed at providing unwavering support to the promising young archer, Taniparthy Chikita’s flourishing sports career by aiding her with the necessary archery equipment for success.
The event was conducted at Inorbit Mall, Cyberabad in presence of Shrawan Kumar Gone, COO (Telangana & AP), K Raheja Corp, Sharat Belavadi, Center Head of Mall, Mayur, Founder Nirmaan NGO and team.
Inorbit Mall – a subsidiary of K. Raheja Corp, is the pioneer of mall culture in India. The company opened its first mall in 2004 in Malad, Mumbai. It has a national presence with four operating Malls in major metro cities such as Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Vadodara, and Cyberabad. Nirmaan Organisation – a not-for-profit organisation has been working in the areas of Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Social Leadership for 18 years.
Hailing from Sultanpur village of Peddapalli district in Telangana, Taniparthy Chikita is not just an emerging archer but also an inspiration for countless children from rural areas. Having commenced her archery journey in the 8th grade, she has demonstrated immense dedication and talent, now studying at the senior intermediate level. Chikita’s remarkable achievements include winning silver and bronze medals at the 2021 National Games, and she stands as the sole representative from Telangana in these prestigious competitions. She is one among the selected eight sports members and the only one from the Telangana State to be trained at the Indian Sports Authority, Sonipat in Haryana. Her future target is to compete in Asian Sports, World Cup and World Championship Sports in Archery.
Project Dhanush Shakti’s overarching goal is to empower Taniparthy Chikita to continue excelling in her archery pursuits and, in doing so, pave the way for other rural children to embrace sports as a viable career choice. The heart of the initiative lies in the provision of vital sports equipment to Chikita which will enable her to further hone her skills and represent not only her individual potential but also the state of Telangana and the nation on international platforms.
The endorsement and support for Project Dhanush Shakti have been echoed by none other than the GHMC Zonal Commissioner, adding an influential local perspective to the initiative.
