New Delhi: ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, a leading pharmaceutical company, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast and brand partner LOC Tears, proudly sponsored the donation of a school bus to the Army Goodwill School in Machil Valley at the Line of Control (LOC) in Kashmir, India. The generous contribution by Kishore Masurkar, Chairman of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, will facilitate the transportation of children residing in the higher reaches of the hills to the school located in the valley.

Nikkhil K Masurkar, CEO of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, expressed his heartfelt sentiments, stating, “We are immensely proud to be part of this initiative. This act of providing a school bus is a small token of our gratitude towards the incredible work carried out by our armed forces at the border. They not only safeguard our nation but also actively participate in uplifting and supporting local communities near LOC. Projects related to women empowerment, education, and social integration, such as the Army’s Project National Integration (Education), are a testament to their dedication. This initiative is heartwarming as it will significantly improve children’s access to education, particularly those residing in the higher altitudes. At ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, we are committed to supporting initiatives that uplift and empower communities, and this CSR endeavour exemplifies our ongoing dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people.”

In addition to the donation, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals had the privilege of being invited to the army barracks by the brave 56 RR (Rashtriya Rifles) Maratha regiment soldiers of the Indian Army. This opportunity allowed the team to contribute towards the Army’s Project National Integration (Education) and gain firsthand insight into the commendable efforts of the Army in the region.

During the visit, Kishore Masurkar paid homage to the valiant Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by laying a wreath of flowers at the Maratha Martyrs Memorial, a moment that was met with great honour and reverence.

The eye care brand LOC tears, named in honour of the courageous Indian soldiers stationed at the LOC, pays tribute to their unwavering dedication and sacrifices for our nation.  Kishore Masurkar, Chairman of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, took pride in sharing the remarkable success story of LOC tears with the Maratha regiment, seeking their blessings and well wishes towards its aspiration to become a global eye care brand originating from India.
