Greater Noida, April 21, 2018: In line with its commitment of working for the development of communities, leading energy and engineering solutions company, Jakson Group, today inaugurated an Early Learning Centre (ELC) at Kasna in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. ELC is a daycare facility for children aged between 2-8 years and has been set up to provide opportunities to learn, play and grow to children from BPL families.
In the first phase, this ELC in Kasna will enrol 25 children in the age group of 2-8 years. Trained teachers and assistants have been taken on board to provide quality education to these children. In-line with the government’s initiative of ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’, the ELC will give preference to the girl child.
Inaugurating the centre, Mr. Sundeep Gupta, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Jakson Group said, “Jakson Group endeavours to make a positive contribution to the lives of children from BPL families through a wide range of result-oriented education and health initiatives. Our Early Learning Centre in Kasna is one amongst several initiatives in this direction as we intend to work towards ensuring all-round development of children from marginalised sections of the society. As a socially responsible corporate, we plan to launch more ELCs in the future and to reach out to more children from BPL families.”
The ELC is equipped with safe drinking water, hygienic sanitation facility, learning tools, AVs, books, stationary and a dedicated play area. Besides, it will provide meal facility to every child under its care.
