PR Professionals’ Environmental Campaign With A Difference

Lucknow, July 29, 2017: Smt. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, kick-started PR Professionals’ campaign titled ‘Ek Vriksha Ka Daan, Navjaat Shishu Ke Naam’ at Lucknow.

Smt. Rita Joshi gifted saplings to parents of newly born babies at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, along with Mr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Founder and Managing Director, PR Professionals. The campaign aims to ensure the protection of the environment and to secure a better future for children. Each sapling gifted to the parents would be named after the baby. The idea behind this campaign is to take care of the saplings in the same way as one would take care of a new born baby. The parents are encouraged to plant the sapling at their homes, look after it and watch it grow along with their babies.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Rita Bahuguna Joshi said: “This is the first of its kind initiative which has an emotional connect with the environment. A new lesson is being taught in a different style which is certainly result oriented. If we can ensure plantation of new saplings with the birth of each child, then per day, approximately 75000 saplings will be planted and will grow as a tree in future, resulting in a pollution-free nation.”

Starting from Lucknow, PR Professionals plans to take the initiative to major hospitals across the country.

Mr. Sarvesh Kumar Tiwari, Founder and Managing Director, PR Professionals said: “I believe it is the moral and social responsibility of each of us to take care of our environment and ensure a better future for the coming generations. We will be taking this movement pan-India to ensure maximum participation of our fellow countrymen.”

Meanwhile, the parents of the new born babies who received a sapling from the Minister were full of praise for the campaign. “This is a noble initiative by PR Professionals to ensure the protection of the environment. We pledge to nurture these plants in the same way as our new-born baby,” said a mother of a new-born baby at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
