New Delhi: Project StepOne, a leading free telemedicine service provider in the country, has introduced the ‘WhatsApp for Vaccine’ bot to address COVID-19 vaccine-related queries, such as finding the centres, registrations, booking slots, checking the status of appointments and more.
Raghavendra Prasad, Founder- Project StepOne, said, “While India is vaccinating at a very good pace, we have only 16 per cent of the Indian adult population who have been fully vaccinated right now. According to our insights and research teams, citizens were looking for simple and easy tools for finding vaccine centres and hence, expedited the vaccination process. Therefore, we have introduced a WhatsApp bot that would help people find nearby vaccination centres, booking slots and more to address all these problems via an easy to use and familiar WhatsApp interface. We are happy to announce that this service is available to all the citizens free of cost.”
“WhatsApp for Vaccine” is an easy-to-use, available-for-all service. To access this service, all the citizens have to do is save the number 9745697456 and WhatsApp their query to the bot for a quick resolution. The bot has been developed by in-house technology specialists and will be available in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Marathi soon.
