New Delhi: Ritco Logistics in collaboration with JK Tyre, has successfully conducted the annual Saarthi Health Programme Initiative at its Panipat hub. This CSR programme underscores Ritco’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of its Saarthis – the dedicated drivers and fleet operators who form the backbone of its operations.
The Saarthi Health Programme Initiative is designed to prioritise the health and safety of the Saarthis, recognising their indispensable role in ensuring seamless logistics services across the nation. Through this initiative, Ritco and JK Tyre aim to create a healthier, more secure environment for these essential workers, aiming both personal and professional growth.
The key activities of the programme included:
Eye Tests: To ensure optimal vision, identify potential issues early, and support their ability to work efficiently and safely.
Blood Tests: Providing a general health assessment and enabling early detection of any underlying health concerns.
Diabetes Screening: Addressing one of the most prevalent lifestyle diseases and promoting awareness and prevention among community members.
The programme catered to Saarthis from various fleets, including those stationed at Panipat, Surat, Jaipur, Chanderpur, Bokaro, Mangalore, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Lanka. Each participant received personalised attention, emphasising the importance of regular health checkups in maintaining a balanced and productive life.
