Sahara Star Pays Tribute to Teachers Mentoring Underprivileged Children with YMCA

Mumbai: Sahara Star, Mumbai’s much-loved property which is a blend of rich luxury and warm hospitality celebrated Teachers Day by hosting a lunch for teachers from The Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Boys Home, in association with SKAL Mumbai South 732, on September 5, 2021.

Teacher’s Day is a celebration for encouraging the contribution of teachers towards society and Sahara Star took this opportunity to appreciate their honourable efforts and selfless work towards the betterment of our nation. The culinary team of Sahara Star, led by Executive Chef Ranjan Rajani, planned a scrumptious buffet for this special occasion filled with a variety of dishes, live counters, desserts.

The Young Men’s Christian Association is one of the oldest and largest non-profit community service organisations. They work collaboratively with government and non-government organisations and partners to provide a range of programmes and services to build strong people, strong families and strong communities.

Highlighting the importance of teachers, Sahara Star’s Training, Recruitment and CSR Manager, Karishma Raghuvanshi said, “Teachers are the biggest gift to a nation and we are always deeply indebted to them for their service, sacrifice and their guidance that they give us throughout our lives.
