Delhi: Muthoot Finance Ltd, India’s largest gold loan company, is inviting applications for the Muthoot Vivahasanmanam Project in Delhi. The 2023 pageant is a unique CSR initiative aimed at providing financial support to widowed mothers for the marriage of their daughters. The pageant will be conducted in Delhi during December 2023.
Under this project, each beneficiary will receive a generous financial assistance of Rs. 50,000. A maximum of 10 beneficiaries will be selected from each of the 8 locations, totalling 80 beneficiaries across cities such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi. To qualify, the total monthly income of the beneficiaries should be less than Rs. 10,000. Muthoot Finance is dedicating a total grant of 40 Lacs for the Muthoot Vivahasammanam Project 2023, reinforcing its historical commitment, having already contributed Rs. 15 Crores towards the marriage assistance for daughters of widowed mothers. The marriages, supported by this initiative, are slated to take place between January 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024, marking a significant step in Muthoot Finance’s ongoing mission to empower and uplift communities.

By providing generous financial assistance to widowed mothers, we aim to alleviate the financial strain, ensuring that the dreams and aspirations of young brides are not hindered by economic constraints. Through this initiative, Muthoot Finance is dedicated to contributing to their journey towards a brighter future, facilitating the celebration of marriages without the weight of financial challenges on their shoulders.”
To access these grants, mothers of eligible girls need to apply along with all the required documents.
- A request letter on white paper addressing Managing Director, Muthoot Finance.
- A letter of recommendation from the Local Councillor/Panchayat member/MLA, etc.
- The marriage invitation or letter indicating the date of marriage or any other document that reinforces the validity of the application
- A copy of the Ration Card and Aadhar Card
- Income Certificate
- Death certificate or any document proving that the mother of the daughter is a widow or a single mother
Application attached with all the above documents should be submitted to the below address on or before 5:30 pm on December 25, 2023. The application envelope should be marked clearly with the words ‘Application for Marriage Gift’.
