Bhopal/Obedullahganj, November 30, 2018: In its aim to serve the community, Sagar Manufacturers Pvt Ltd (SMPL) and Sagar Nutriments Pvt. Ltd (SNPL) producers of superior quality yarn and rice, organized a blood donation camp at its campus in Tamot, Tehsil Goharganj, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society. SMPL and SNPL employees volunteered and contributed 78 units of blood. All participating donors were awarded refreshment, certificates of appreciation and blood donor’s card for their noble contribution to society. Blood collected from the camp will be provided to needy patients who come for treatment at the hospital.
Dr.O.P. Shrivastava, Executive Director, Blood Bank & Pathology Laboratory of the Indian Red Cross Society said, “We are thankful to the entire team of Sagar Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd and Sagar Nutriments Pvt. Ltd, who have contributed to this noble cause and made the blood donation camp a huge success. The units of SMPL and SNPL have set an example to other units in the location to organise such camps which can save the lives of citizens.”
