Gujarat: Signify, the world leader in lighting, took a significant step towards fostering inclusive education by inaugurating four computer labs in blind schools across Gujarat. This initiative marked another pivotal moment in the ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects undertaken by Signify.
The execution of this noteworthy project was entrusted to Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, Signify’s dedicated NGO partner. Samarthanam Trust has been instrumental in ensuring the seamless implementation of Signify’s CSR initiatives aimed at promoting education and skill development among individuals with disabilities.
The impact of this endeavour is substantial, with over 350 visually impaired students benefiting from the newly established computer labs. Signify’s commitment to making a positive difference is further reflected in the fact that this project extends support to a total of 26 blind schools across India.

The newly equipped computer labs are set up in the following blind schools; ‘SURABHI’ Lions Blind Girls School in Vadodara, Samajsuraksha Sankul and Resource Centre in Vadodara, Andhajan Shikshan Mandal in Surat, Andhjan Shala in Shavarimal.
