Mumbai, July 5, 2019: Adani Foundation inaugurated the newly constructed building of Mulloor Upper Primary School in Vizhinjam, Kerala, in the presence of State Education Minister – Prof. C. Ravindranath, and State Minister for Ports – Mr. Ramachandran Kadannappally, in a ceremony at the school premises.
A year ago, the school authorities, the District Administration and Adani Foundation came together to bring the ailing school to its former glory. Adani Foundation constructed the two-storey school building to provide students with quality infrastructure which is an integral part of the learning process. As a result, the school has attracted 168 students now.

When we create a facilitating environment that enables effective learning, we make our children ready for future endeavours towards nation building,” said Dr. Priti Adani, Chairperson, Adani Foundation.

Moreover, AVMA is the only school in India that has included Coding Sandpit in its regular curriculum. Coincidentally, Adani Public School, Mundra is the first NABET accredited school in the Saurashtra and Kutch region.
The Foundation has been promoting innovative learning programmes such as Gyanodaya smart e-learning classes which have improved the quality of teaching & learning in 157 rural schools in Godda district of Jharkhand. Within a year, the district has moved from the bottom seven to the top five in the State in Class IX results. In addition, the Foundation has been ensuring quality education to 100,000 children by supporting 600 government schools and Balwadis across the country.
