New Delhi: To commemorate the spirit of resilience, agility and innovation that lie in our youth today, ‘Sarvo Udhyam’ in association with Udhyam Learning Foundation unveils its National Alumni Community at The Grand Orion, Kailash Colony, New Delhi. The event that took place on the eve of National Youth Day celebrates the spirit and achievements of the 100 young entrepreneurs who graduated from Udhyam’s Youth Business Projects.

The Alumni Community, born out of extensive interactions and reflections with programme graduates, is set to play a pivotal role in nurturing and propelling the ventures of these young minds. With a vision to create a robust and supportive network of student entrepreneurs, ‘Sarvo-Udhyam’ aims to provide a structured platform for peer sharing, knowledge exchange, mentorship, and collaborative growth opportunities.

The immense potential of the Indian youth is a formidable force, encompassing over 600 million individuals aged below 25 and constituting a substantial demographic strength. Sarvo Udhyam saw one hundred of the Udhyam Youth Business Projects Initiative showcase their achievement and vocalise the various challenges they have faced over the years. The event also saw other stakeholders including accomplished startup founders such as Brijesh Aggarwal, Co-Founder and Director, IndiaMART, and Sairee Chahal, Founder of Sheros, sharing their journeys and reflecting on the journey of these young entrepreneurs and the support that would be required from the ecosystem for these upcoming ventures in a panel discussion.

Furthermore, these leading founders pledged their support on the spot in these promising youth-led businesses including a free subscription to India Mart, its accounting software and sessions on legal and compliance by Mr. Brijesh. Additionally, Rajeev Talreja would also provide a three-day business course free to the young cohort.  These young individuals have been able to establish their businesses across sectors such as art, clothing, food, electronics, marketing, cosmetics, education and software services and have collectively been able to generate more than Rs 4 Crores in revenue and provide job opportunities for many others.

Commenting on the launch of the community, Mekin Maheshwari, CEO and Founder, Udhyam Learning Foundation said, “We are happy to cultivate a dynamic community wherein the flourishing of entrepreneurial spirit of the youth takes centre stage. Our mission is to empower the youth and provide them not only with the knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship but also foster an environment where they can seamlessly translate this acquired knowledge into impactful actions. ‘Sarvo-Udhyam’ is not just an alumni chapter; it’s a community where the entrepreneurial mindset comes alive.”
